An Image of Sydney as Australia opens its borders to all vaccinated tourists and business travellers after being closed for almost two years

Australia will open its borders to all vaccinated tourists and business travellers after being closed for almost two years as part of the effort to control the spread of Covid-19.  From 21st February 2022 foreign tourists who are double vaccinated will be allowed back into Australia.

Australian border closures were some of the strictest in the world so it’s cause for celebration that friends and families will be reunited once more.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said "If you're double vaccinated, we look forward to welcoming you back".

And as Australia gets ready to get back to travel normality, airlines are gearing up for an increase in overseas travel with Qantas restarting six overseas routes not seen since the pandemic began.
